Artinua ™ , pronounced art in wah, describes the spirit of creativity that lives in us all.
The name Artinua was coined by Victoria John (Ritterbush), who began her work as an artist on Jackson Square in New Orleans, Louisiana. Painting on salvaged roofing slates, she quickly moved on to selling the paintings to retailers and on consignment in the French Quarter and around the city. Victoria John (Ritterbush) has been painting under the pseudonym Artinua and doing business as Artinua since the 1980's. After several years offline Artinua is back on the web. Since the Artinua.com domain has been adopted by another party, Artinua is back as Artinua.Org. Artinua.Org offers information and reference resources and other assistance to artists.
